More Celebrity Spotting Near UCLA

Today was not a great day to be a UCLA professor. Yes, the sun was out and it was 70 degrees but we lost the big game. As I sat at the local Westwood park thinking about the agony of defeat and wondering why no basketball players sleep through my classes, I wondered why I wasn't teaching in Boston anymore. The lure of riding the Red Line, the excitement of NBER, the taste of Legal Seafood chowder all of these sensations raced through my mind. I also remembered that housing is 50% cheaper in Boston than in Los Angeles. Just as I was about to call my wife and tell her that it is time to return East, I spotted Tori Spelling and the dude who I believe is her husband. They were recently on the cover of People Magazine and this allowed me to identify them. I read People Magazine because it gives me research ideas.

I can report that Tori is pregnant. If she isn't pregnant, then she really likes beer. She sat on a swing next to my son and like all celebrities she gave me a strange look when she realized that I recognized her. I told my son "Alex, we have to go". He was angry at me at that moment because we had played a successful game of lazyman football where we each sit 10 yards apart and see how many football catches we can make without either of us dropping the ball. He dropped it at 39 and was pissed.
